Anyone else not get their package from Hiyyue?
This company has been recommended quite a few times on here for SBA3 clones. In late December, I decided to order directly off their site. Later I received an email asking me to write a review, but I hadn't even received it yet. I checked my order status on their site and it showed it had made it to the US, but no progress for a couple weeks.
So I contacted them to see if they see something differently or have a better idea of an ETA. I also noticed their site said orders would be received within two weeks, and it had been three.
They asked me to give it a few more days. I gave it a week. I checked the tracking link again and it had backfilled scans for a couple weeks where there were not updates, and said it had been delivered.
I checked my security cam footage and there was no attempted package delivery that day. We also get notified via email of any incoming packages, and there hasn't been a notification for this package. So the tracking saying it's been delivered seems to be erroneous.
I contacted Hiyyue again and asked how we might resolve this. They said it was the Chinese New Year so the carrier wasn't responding. I waited another week, wished them a Happy Chinese New Year and again asked where my package was. They said they still weren't hearing back from the carrier.
So I waited a few more days and contacted them again. The said "we can only obtain the phone number of your local company, and we are unable to make a call from China. You can call them to inquire"
Now I've done some more digging to verify that if USPS received the package, the tracking number should work on usps.com. When I check there, there's nothing for that number.
I've seen this before where Chinese sellers are able to provide bogus tracking numbers that look like a package was delivered but they never actually shipped anything. I'm trying to figure out if that's what happened here. I know a number of you have "bike grips" off Amazon and had them arrive, with a card from Hiyyue. They seem to have fulfilled from Amazon, but I wonder how many of you have ordered but not received anything.
