My own little miracle
FYI I am not a Catholic/Christiam, but I still try to believe. I watched a podcast of Jordan Peterson and the director of The Chosen. The director explained about a miracle involving a message from an acquaintance who he did not know well and was in Romania at the time. The message was surprisingly extremely relevant to what the director and his wife were talking about that day (about The Feeding of the 5000) and the guy even said that God told him to send him this message. I found this intriguing and extremely comforting. And it led me to do Lectio Divina. I read a section in the Gospel of Luke called The Cost of Discipleship. In this passage, Jesus talked about picking up one’s cross and following Him. He mentioned other things as well, but I wanted to understand what picking up one’s cross meant. So I looked it up and read some articles and watched some videos on YouTube. One video was of Fr Mike Schultz talking about a film called Father Stu and about how that was a good example of what picking up one’s cross meant. He explained what it meant anyways, but I wanted to look for the film on Netflix. Unfortunately it wasn’t available. But since I have a VPN, I was changing the location hoping to find it. The ONLY country that had the Father Stu film available on Netflix was Romania. So, I felt, and feel, like God is with me, and He wanted me to watch the film.
