Anna in Frozen
Every time I rewatch Frozen, I fall in love with Anna’s character more and more. I like how real and whimsical she is, but I am not obsessed with her like I am with Elsa. She's a great character and I feel myself gravitating toward liking her and understanding her when I watch the films but after doing so, she doesn't stick out to me outside of the movie’s walls.
With Elsa however, I find myself relating to her on a much deeper level and embracing her more outside of the films. Searching for her merch or liking a fanart of her (not that I don't do the same with Anna but you get my drift). Elsa is..well special! She has this enchanting aurora about her that is so mysterious, that you want to dig deeper into her character motives, fears, desires, etc. just to try to understand her.
And yes, there is a difference between F1 Anna and F2 Anna, character development-wise. We see Anna being co-dependent on Elsa and extremely cautious about her. Then overcoming her overprotective tendencies when faced with the harsh reality that everyone that she had ever loved, especially her sister is now gone (for now). So she is on her own and is her savior and hero, she has to help herself to help others, by doing the next right thing.
